Poverty:

1. Provide targeted support for people who have multiple complex needs dovetailing with the Liberal Democrats’ national work to combat the cost of living crisis. 

2. Make effective use of the government’s Crisis and Resilience fund

3.  Make rubbish disposal free at the point of use. 

Parents:

1. Freedom to be the parent you would wish to be with good schools for every child

2. Good SEND provision

3. Good wrap around care

4. Good and, where possible, improved transport links 

5. Safer communities with 20mph speed limits where appropriate. 

Potholes:

1. Freedom to access the county in a reliably safe way, without risk to public and private vehicles 

2. Work with the Highway contractors to find a better way to deal with pothole repairs

A Liberal Democrat controlled council will:

1. Put safety and wellbeing at the heart of the council’s work

2. Treat everyone with dignity and respect 

3. Work with Town and Parish Councils wherever possible

4. Recognise and work with partners in all sectors of the economy
