North Rother Branch

North Rother Branch includes the villages of Burwash, Etchingham, Ticehurst, Hurst Green, Robertsbridge, Mountfield and Dallington. Although to complicate things a little Dallington is in a North Rother County Division and a Battle District. It also, of course, includes all the wonderful countryside in between these villages.

Prior to the current pandemic North Rother had always been a very active Branch. We have elected Officers and would hold regular meetings to which all local members are invited.

Over the past few years our biggest social and fundraising event has been the March Quiz. We enjoy questions set by George Hearn and a hot supper prepared by members. The new Etchingham Halls have been the preferrred venue since their opening, affording plenty of space, an excellent kitchen and parking for those who need it being nicely positioned in the centre of the Branch area.Sadly the 2020 quiz had to be cancelled.
