Becky is a mum of 3, who is originally from NE Wales. Becky lived in Staffordshire for 25 years, having gone there to University and lived in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands for 20 years. Becky and her family moved to Kent in 2022 and has loved getting to know the area since.
Becky works in the NHS, with a focus on sustainability and reducing health inequalities. Before working in the NHS, Becky worked in local government, specifically in the areas of policy, strategy and equality and diversity. Becky’s career in the public sector spans over 20 years and has afforded her the chance to work with lots of local communities and implement policies and initiatives to try and positively impact on the local communities for whom she serves.
Becky is passionate about fairness, equality and inclusivity, and it is this passion that led Becky into politics, first becoming a town Councillor in Faversham, and then, a PPC for Bexhill and Battle. With her experience of living in both coastal and rural communities and a career in supporting local communities, Becky genuinely believes she can represent the people of Bexhill and Battle and help to have their concerns listened to.
In her spare time, Becky loves going to the theatre and to concerts as well as spending time in the outdoors. She also spends a lot of time taxiing her children around to various activities and spending time with her family pets (2 labradors and 2 cats).
