Constituency Boundary changes will take effect at the
next General Election, increasing the electorate by some 9,000 in the Heathfield area in the West, and decreasing it by 3,700 in the East with the removal of the Brede Valley Ward.
From 2007 Brede Valley Ward will become part of the Rye & Hastings Constituency
The Wealden Wards of Cross in Hand/Five Ashes, Heathfield East, and
Heathfield North & Central will become part of Bexhill & Battle in addition to those Wards in Wealden which are already within our boundaries, i.e. part of Hailsham Herstmonceux,
Ninfield & Hooe with Wartling and Pevensey & Westham.
